After simple ideation and sketching, I designed a ring that contained movable parts and is 3D printable.
Began with some inspiration from some of the exhibitions at the time in the Savannah College of Arts and Design Museum. During my visit I studied and sketched form, volume and rhythm found in the different works of art. Furthermore I placed my inspiration onto paper and sketched several designs that I found interesting for a ring, I kept in mind how would it move and what purpose does it create.
During the course of 3 weeks I was able to sketch, model, render and 3D print my ring design. Fully functional and with two different sizes.
